One former Premier League player says that Mo Salah will be joining the Saudi Pro League after leaving Liverpool.
Mo Salah was the target of a £150 million offer from Al Ittihad in the summer of last year, but the Reds refused to sell the 31-year-old.
The Saudi Pro League teams have been considering a move for the winger, whose contract expires in 2025. The Reds are aware that this is likely the last opportunity they will have to get a high price for their best player.
Furthermore, Salah has already finalized the terms of his summertime relocation to the Middle East, according to former Egyptian and Premier League striker Mido.
He stated on X that Mohamed Salah will play in the Saudi League the next season. Agreements have been signed.
Salah would become the fourth player from Liverpool to leave Anfield for the Gulf State if Mido’s allegations turned out to be accurate.
Salah may follow Fabinho, Roberto Firmino, and Jordan Henderson—who left after just six months—as the players who have already made the move.
A summer of transformation at Liverpool
A new chapter at Liverpool has begun with the departure of manager Jurgen Klopp at the end of the current campaign.
While several other notable names, like as Andy Robertson, have been connected to a transfer away, Xabi Alonso is the front-runner to replace the German.
New hires and fresh concepts could also result from a new boss.
