The most recent WWE Superstar to address the Vince McMahon accusations is Kevin Owens.
On January 25, Vince McMahon was charged by Janel Grant with multiple counts of sexual assault and sex trafficking. A month later, the allegations continue to cast a shadow over the wrestling community. Many well-known figures in the wrestling community have responded to the alarming news by discussing what should be done going ahead.
Owens called the incidents “horrible” and said they would never happen again in an interview with Alex McCarthy of The Daily Mail at Elimination Chamber:
Everything that has surfaced is terrible. Very awful. I truly don’t know how to express how depressed I am about this. It’s awful if the people who spoke out experienced what they did. It is despicable and will never occur again. That’s the crux of the matter.
During her media appearances at Elimination Chamber, Becky Lynch also talked candidly about her personal WWE experiences and the Vince McMahon accusations.
As of this writing, Vince McMahon is still being investigated by the federal government.
Kevin Owens is the last one to respond as the top star faces harsh criticism.
Even though many prominent players from the main roster, including Owens, Becky Lynch, and Seth Rollins, have all responded to the accusation by denouncing everyone involved, one of the greatest players in franchise history held a different opinion. John Cena, who has known McMahon for a long time, was questioned concerning the claims during his appearance on Howard Stern. Many people were perplexed by John Cena’s response to the Vince McMahon charges, which drew harsh criticism from fans.
