Ebanie Bridges continues to defend her friendship with Conor McGregor.
Last weekend, the boxer who used to be world champion made the trip to Dublin to see McGregor and spend the evening having fun at one of his bars.
Photos from Bridges’ night out on the tiles with 6-1 professional boxer Jasmina Zapotoczna, a UFC icon, were posted on Sunday morning.
With Jasmina Zapotoczna and Conor McGregor at the Black Forge Inn, she had “what an incredible night.” as the caption for the photo.
The cuisine and ambiance are just amazing. We appreciate all of the attendees.
The Black Forged is somewhere you really must visit if you haven’t already.
A pint of the Forged Irish stout should also not be forgotten.
“Italy is my fucking paradise!”
Social media trolls quickly began posting offensive remarks regarding Bridges’ relationship with McGregor, who has four children with his long-term wife Dee Devlin.
One person wrote, “Out together AGAIN,” with the emoji of sarcastic eyes.
“The Blonder Bomber” corrected him with a response of just four words.
In response, Bridges said, “That’s what friends do.”
Before going to Anthony Joshua’s fight against Robert Helenius together a few months later, McGregor and Bridges first crossed paths at Katie Taylor’s debut bout against Chantelle Cameron in May of last year.
Following the fight, the well-liked Australian had to shield McGregor’s friendship from “haters,” and two months later, they formalized their relationship with a sponsorship agreement.
Before facing Miyo Yoshida for the IBF bantamweight title in December of last year, Bridges officially joined the Forged Irish Stout athlete program.
Chloe Ellman-Baker, one of McGregor’s ring ladies from Forged Irish Stout, was sent on an airplane to America instead of McGregor being able to attend in person to support his friend.
Ellman-Baker showed up unexpectedly to surprise Bridges, but even with a close friend present, Ellman-Baker lost a unanimous decision to Yoshida.
Win, lose, or draw, McGregor sticks with his friend, and she does the same despite criticism from others who don’t get their bond.
