This weekend, when the two unbeaten boxers square off in a major main event in Las Vegas, Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis will try to put a stop to their ongoing dispute.
The WBA lightweight championship is held by Davis (28-0, 26 KOs), while Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) formerly held the WBC interim lightweight title.
But in a match that has been in the works for years, the Americans will square off in a 136-pound catchweight contest.
Garcia, 24, and “Tank,” 28, are still on track to compete after Davis’ recent legal difficulties threatened to postpone the match.
When is that?
The main event of the bout will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 22.
The main card is scheduled to start at 1 am BST on April 23 (5 pm PT, 7 pm CT, and 8 pm ET on April 22). The main event ring walks are then anticipated to begin at around 4 am BST on Sunday (8 pm PT, 10 pm CT, 11 pm ET on Saturday).
The fight schedule is mutable.
