Donny van de Beek, a midfielder for Manchester United, has delivered a positive report on his protracted knee injury.
Erik ten Hag announced the following week that Van de Beek will be out for the duration of the season after he buckled under a challenge from Marcos Senesi during United’s 3-0 victory against Bournemouth at the beginning of January.
In a recent video with Premier League Productions, the 26-year-old Dutchman documented a day in his recovery, including some gym work and ball exercises. However, there have been little updates on the Dutchman’s progress.
In a video posted on United’s club website, he remarked, “Everything is going up now, I feel much better and I am on a good road now.” “I need to eat a lot of protein to recover, as well as healthy food, for my knee.
“You like playing football with your teammates every day, and it plays a significant role in your life. And if you must miss that, I make an effort to look at it positively right now. I can’t wait to go out on the pitch again; I am only getting closer every day.
The video shows Dutch midfielder Van de Beek going on some resistance training in the gym with club physiotherapist John Davin.
“I can do almost everything already,” he continued. The fact that there is no longer any discomfort indicates that we are on a good path.
The former Ajax player then took part in some simple football drills in the gym while controlling and passing to Davin with no signs of discomfort.
Van van Beek said in April that he couldn’t give a specific return date but assured fans that his recovery was proceeding well.
He told MUTV, “I’m busy healing from my injuries and everything is going great. “It’s difficult to provide you with a time [for a return date], we simply need to see how things pan out.
For the time being, I work out frequently in the gym. However, it’s a plus that I’m getting closer to being on the pitch. I live close by.
