The elusive winger, who arrived at Manchester United alongside Erik ten Hag from Ajax last summer, has already displayed flashes of brilliance, but we’re sure the best is yet to come.
Although many analysts have been critical of Antony, we must remember that this is his first year playing in the Premier League.
His performances have given me more motivation than anything else. Regardless of whether he engages in a brawl or moves the ball into the attacking zones, he at least displays some grit.
The Brazil international discusses how he has adjusted off the pitch in an interview with club media (via ManUtd.com).
I feel like I’ve settled down and gotten used to Manchester, adds Antony.
There are many Brazilians present. Casemiro and I frequently get together and engage in activities.
“I’ve made myself at home in the city, and I adore my life here. I hope I can stay here for a while.
While Fred and World Cup winner Lisandro Martinez were also crucial in Casemiro’s adjustment to United, Antony, who is close to Casemiro, was the other South American player who did so. The winger is also considerate enough to single out Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, and David de Gea for special mention.
And not just those individuals, but Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot [have benefited] as well, he continued. “Definitely [knowing Casemiro, Fred, and Martinez helped].
They’ve been a big assistance to me, as well as our custodian David [De Gea]. It means a lot to have their help, to be able to ask them for guidance, to have them show me about, and to have them introduce me to things.
“I’m incredibly grateful that everyone here has welcomed me in this way,” she said.

At the end of the year, maybe he will be able to add the FA Cup to his collection of honours. That would be the cherry on top, along with a top-four finish.
