Erik ten Hag is ‘charmed’ by the Moroccan star, thus Manchester United may be interested in Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina.
According to his brother Nordin,, Ten Hag would be interested in seeing the player he formerly coached at FC Utrecht.
Since the World Cup, when he was one of the main players in Morocco’s run to the semifinals of the tournament, Amrabat has been extensively linked with a move away from Fiorentina.
He apparently attracted a lot of Premier League attention during the January transfer window, but he chose to remain with La Viola.
However, the intrigue is still present, and he is still mentioned in connection with a potential transfer to England after once more shining for Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League.
One of those with a history of interest is United, particularly in January after Eriksen sustained an injury when they were seeking for a midfielder.
They eventually acquired Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bayern Munich, but he won’t be there long. Given that players like Fred and McTominay have both been connected with exits, they may find themselves back in the market for players in that position.
Amrabat would undoubtedly be interested in that since, according to his brother, he would choose a top four team like Manchester United over anything else on the market in England.
He is performing admirably for Fiorentina. You won’t exchange Italy for a spot in the Premier League’s middle division, he remarked.
“My 26-year-old brother wants to reach the top. Of course, you never know; when you see which names are going, it (Saudi Arabia) will likely be a fierce competitor. However, my brother now plans to play professionally, ideally in Spain or England, in my opinion.
“I believe United expressed interest in January.” But Ten Hag is currently searching for a striker since he needs one most. He will assess what is feasible from there.
However, I am aware that Ten Hag is won over by my brother because he managed to get past him. Furthermore, they get along well, so who knows?
