Manchester United set to reach agreement over a deal for £47 million Brazilian international
Fred is reportedly getting close to moving to Galatasaray, according to the Turkish outfit Fotomac. The Brazilian midfielder needs to leave Manchester United in quest of consistent playing time because he has struggled to get into regular games at Old Trafford.
At this point in his career, a departure from Old Trafford would be great for him. The 30-year-old, who cost £47 million to acquire, hasn’t always performed well for Manchester United. At this point in his career, moving to Turkey would be excellent for him.
It is still unclear whether the two teams would be able to reach a swift deal given that the Turkish league’s lower calibre could lengthen his time playing at the highest level. Galatasaray needs to add to its midfield, and for the right price, the Manchester United midfielder may be a good addition.

It is yet to be seen whether Fred will be more consistent with a move to Turkey, but he has demonstrated that he can be a strong player on his good days. Recently, Manchester United has been linked with midfielders like Sofyan Amrabat, and if the Brazilian continues at the club, he is likely to slide farther down the hierarchy.
It would be best if the two of them parted ways. Additionally, Manchester United will be able to strengthen their own team with the money from his transfer. The Red Devils will play in the Champions League and try to win the league title the next season. To compete with teams like Manchester City and Arsenal, they must have a deeper squad.
Fred is unquestionably not good enough to be a regular starter for a side vying for the Premier League championship. Manchester United must therefore try to add better alternatives. And according to recent sources, Amrabat is on the verge of joining them.
In the upcoming weeks, it will be intriguing to see if the Red Devils can finalize the acquisition of Sofyan Amrabat. The 26-year-old had an outstanding World Cup campaign and would significantly help Manchester United.
