Arsenal has been connected to Manchester City fullback Joao Cancelo.
The summer transfer window is when Arsenal hopes to get Joao Cancelo from Manchester City, according to journalist Dean Jones, who spoke with GiveMeSport on June 30.
At the time, the reporter stated that after agreements for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber were completed, Arsenal will turn its attention to Cancelo.
Rice, a midfielder for the England national team, moved from West Ham United since then, and Timber, a defender for the Netherlands national team, transferred from Ajax.
Arsenal’s interest in Cancelo was also reported by Football Transfers in June, with the manager Mikel Arteta allegedly intending to deploy the fullback at right-back.
Cancelo is wanted out of Manchester City.
Arsenal value Cancelo and are still interested in him, according to Italian writer Fabrizio Romano, who spoke with GiveMeSport earlier this month.
The Portugal international makes £180,000 per week (SalarySport) and can play on either flank.
Rudy Galetti, an Italian journalist, is currently tweeting that Manchester City wants to get rid of Cancelo as quickly as possible.
🚨🗣️ #Barcelona are still working for Joao #Cancelo.

According to the Italian writer, Barcelona is interested in signing the 29-year-old during the summer transfer window.
The new Premier League season will shortly begin, and preseason practice has already begun.
Joao Cancelo should be a target for Arsenal.
We believe that during the summer transfer window, Arsenal should at the very least try to acquire Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.
Despite having choices at full-back in their excellent roster, Cancelo is one of the best players available and is now at the height of his ability.
At Arsenal, the Portuguese full-back may have an immediate impact.
Cancelo, who spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Bayern Munich, may be interested in joining a side that will compete for the Premier League championship and have an influence in the UEFA Champions League by joining Arsenal.
