Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Jurrien Timber are already notable additions to the Arsenal squad this summer, but they are far from finished shopping for new players.
After spending a lot of money this summer already, according to CalcioMercato, Arsenal is interested in Barella and is attempting to come up with a creative deal for the Italy international.
The north London club will reportedly offer Balogun and Tomiyasu to Inter in a two-for-one deal, and they might even have to add further funds to secure the key midfielder.
Balogun is a player who Inter are interested in, but the £50 million price tag Arsenal set on the striker has deterred them. It is unclear whether or not Tomiyasu, a player from Japan, is a player that Inter is interested in.
The Serie A team is undoubtedly concerned about losing Barella, who has been an important member of their team since signing from Cagliari in 2019.
The 26-year-old helped Inter reach the Champions League final last season, where they were nearly defeated by Manchester City, with nine goals and 10 assists in 52 games across all competitions.
There is no urgency for Inter to sell because Barella has a contract there through 2026.
The club is not in a strong financial situation, but if Arsenal can make them a good offer, it might be too good to refuse.
