Manchester United have allegedly launched a bid for Ryan Gravenberch to bolster their midfield.

The Netherlands international wants to leave Thomas Tuchel’s side after struggling to find his feet in Munich after joining Ajax in the summer of 2022. So far, the Bavarians have been reluctant to let him go, even turning down an offer from AC Milan a few weeks ago.
However, the waiting list for Gravenberch’s services is growing by the day, and United are the latest team to join the fray.
According to Italian writer Alfredo Pedulla, the Red Devils contacted Bayern and made an offer for Gravenberch in “the last few hours.”
Liverpool has also made a bid to the Dynamic midfielder, who earns roughly £200,000 per week before taxes in Munich.

The 21-year-old wants to play under Erik Ten Hag, the manager who brought out the best in him at Ajax.
However, Pedulla says that any transfer might be contingent on the future of Donny van de Beek or Scott McTominay, as United would like to sell at least one midfielder before bringing in a new face.
This might also explain why the Red Devils have failed to propose Sofyan Amrabat despite being aware of Fiorentina’s value and reaching an agreement on the Moroccan’s wage.
Amrabat is claimed to have waited patiently for United all summer, having turned down other offers, but as the summer transfer window winds down, the Morocco international is expecting to complete his move quickly.
Those who desire Amrabat at Old Trafford may be concerned by the English club’s alleged bid for Gravenberch. However, Pedulla adds that depending on sales, they may recruit two midfielders.
