In what may be the biggest transfer saga of the summer, the Blues have already signed players like Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, beating off Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp and interest from other clubs.
In terms of their Premier League interests, Mauricio Pochettino’s team may not stop there, as Brennan Johnson and London rival Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun are two candidates being considered.
Contact has already been made with the latter’s representatives, and it is known that Monaco is also interested in the player. More developments are anticipated as deadline day approaches.
There are a few additional players Chelsea could look to in order to strengthen their team outside of the English top division.
Two of the players on the list, Jesper Lindstrom and Nico Williams, as well as Mohammed Kudus, who is the subject of negotiations between Ajax and West Ham, and Rayan Cherki, whose asking price is now seen to be too high, are appealing.
Romelu Lukaku may leave Stamford Bridge in the not too distant future if West Ham, AC Milan and Roman are kept up to date on his whereabouts. Chelsea believes that a solution will be reached before the window closes.
