Man United ‘would like’ to sell Donny van de Beek before summer ends
FEATURED VIDEO
There was a mixed bag in the Manchester United transfer window. However, more players should have been moved into a perfect world because some good additions were made instead.
The Red Devils, sadly, still have a lot of roster deadwood. The Old Trafford team is now beginning to feel the consequences of overpaying for player salaries.
Donny van de Beek is one man who unquestionably belongs in that group. It seems like the entire summer that the Dutchman was rumored to be moving abroad, but nothing materialized.
A ray of hope has now been presented to us on that front. This information comes from Football Insider, which reports that United ‘would prefer’ to offload the 26-year-old before the international transfer windows close.
It is anticipated that Van de Beek will have “options” in Turkey, where his window is still open through Friday, September 15th.
Van van Beek had possibilities in Europe, but a move to Lorient never happened, and Real Sociedad’s interest never materialized.
Even if we believe that moving away is the wisest course of action for everyone involved, Van de Beek now has a smaller selection of potential locations to choose from.
The Dutchman is a great athlete. He only has to get back to playing consistently so he can find his best form again.
At the greatest level, confidence is crucial, and Van de Beek currently possesses zero. The Dutch player might win a championship or two by switching to a top Turkish squad before returning to a competitive European team in a few years.
