Since joining the North Londoners from Atletico Madrid in 2020 for £45 million, the Ghanaian international has been an important member of the team (BBC). But if Football Transfers is to be believed, he won’t be playing for Arsenal much longer.
In January, Arsenal is prepared to consider bids for Thomas Partey.
In the first two months of the summer transfer season, there were numerous rumours that Thomas Partey would be leaving Arsenal.
Juventus and Saudi Arabian clubs also expressed interest in the Ghanaian international, but Arsenal ultimately decided to stay with him.
The report states that Mikel Arteta and the Ghanaian had a private meeting last week to discuss Partey’s future after the right-back played three games and sustained an injury.
Following the meeting, Arteta and Partey came to the consensus that it would be in everyone’s best interest for Arsenal to consider buying the midfielder in the January transfer window. It has been made known that the manager of the Gunners is now prepared to fire him.
At the beginning of the year, Partey will begin the last 18 months of his deal.
