Marcus Rashford, a striker for Manchester United, is eager to grow his relationship with Rasmus Hojlund.
Rashford says he is “super excited” about the potential.
Rashford opened his remarks to PLP Productions by saying, “I am honestly really excited about it.
Last year, when we launched counterattacks, we occasionally only saw the shirts of other people’s bodies. Bruno [Fernandes], who was arriving later, was typically the only one receiving a cut-back.
“However, this year, you have to understand that the dynamics have changed, so we have spoken to each other and done a little bit of work off the pitch, probably without the coaching staff even being aware of it, between [just] me and him,” she continued.
“I simply want him to comprehend my game as rapidly as possible while I do the same for his. So far, so good. We obviously had the unfortunate goal against Brighton that was disallowed, but then in the next game, we had one where we collaborated for a goal, so I’m really thrilled for him.
“I am excited for it, excited for the future, and I am also so excited that we have so many games coming up because we have so many opportunities to show who we are,” the athlete said. “I’m sure it is a relationship that will help both players.”
Rashford continues, “It’s just the speed we can attack at now is very different. The Dane has introduced a fresh element to the assault.
It doesn’t really change that much [in terms of] my attacking responsibilities whether I am playing as a left striker, a two up front, or on the left.
“It’s just having the assurance that if you do make a run in behind, someone else on the other side is also making a run, and maybe it will get to the point where you won’t even have to look for him; you can just drop it in there and we know that he is in and about there.
He is a large, robust, physically active young man with good finishing skills. He will so score goals when the opportunities do present themselves.
