In the Champions League group stage encounter, Harry Kane helped Bayern Munich to a 3-1 victory away from Galatasaray. Kane found Jamal Musiala in the middle of the box in the 79th minute, after his own rebound goal in the 73rd minute to score the ultimate game-winning goal. Bayern had a dominating lead after Musiala’s composed shot.
Kane also had nothing but praise for the Turkish supporters after facing the fierce Galatasaray defense.
This is my first time at this stadium, and right now I’m just trying to get my hearing back. Amazing, well done to the Galatasaray supporters and, of course, our away supporters as well. Football is all about competing under pressure on a significant occasion. Thank goodness, we managed to get through it today.
Kane made it to one Champions League final, which occurred in 2019. Kane and his Bayern colleagues will remain on course to make it to this year’s final, which will take place in Kane’s native London, England, with more performances like this one.
