A fantastic chance for Paris Saint-Germain to get one step closer to securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage was lost. On Matchday 4 at San Siro, the capital team was defeated by AC Milan 2-1.

Milan Skriniar’s header made it 1-0 for the Ligue 1 team to take the lead. After their 3-0 victory on Matchday 3, it appeared as though the Parisians would continue where they left off.
However, a few minutes after Rafael Leão’s score, the Ligue 1 team lost their early lead. Olivier Giroud’s header would be the decisive goal for AC Milan.
Kylian Mbappé feels disappointed by the loss, even though PSG still has control over their fate in these last two Champions League matchdays.
Mbappé said to PSG TV, “It’s a defeat, it hurts.” But we need to focus on the future. We will stop at nothing to win at home and give ourselves some breathing room in this group because we still hold the power to control our own destiny.
