(A mean score is approximately 6.)
Andre Onana 8- made a fantastic stop to prevent an uncommon Luton Town onslaught, and he appeared to be in control. has now discovered his calling at Old Trafford.
Diogo Dalot 7: He was able to return to his favourite side, the right, and he was quite happy to overlap with his stronger foot. had a nice cross that McTominay may have benefited from.
Harry Maguire 7: Erik ten Hag appeared to be using a diagonal ball to find Garnacho as a tactical move, and he had plenty of time to get it off because Luton didn’t press high. had a few attacking runs and appeared safe at defence.
Victor Lindelof 7- A quiet and modest game up until he ended up scoring the game’s winning goal against all odds. Needed that performance badly after a humiliating run before becoming sick.
Sergio Reguilon 6: Often threw the ball away carelessly because he was overly eager to impress and play it forward. Much better in the latter part.
Scott McTominay 5: Dalot headed Dalot’s cross; he should have done better. United has to exert a little more pressure in the attacking zone.
Christian Eriksen 5: Erik ten Hag’s nightmares were exacerbated when he was substituted off the pitch in the first half due to a non-contact injury, which is usually the worst kind.
Marcus Rashford: 4-Ten Hag’s options are restricted, and he’s having to play his way into form because it’s not working for him at the moment. Attacking erratically once more and seizing opportunities that he should have missed the previous season.
Fernandes Bruno, 6- was once more forced to play creator-in-chief as he attempted to take risks after becoming upset by Luton’s deep block. It appears that you are the only one who can still produce something.
Rafael Garnacho 6.5: Garnacho showed both his finest and worst qualities during the game. He was fearless and had excellent attacking instincts, but he hesitated when it came time to execute the finish. Several excellent opportunities were lost.
Rasmus Hojlund 7: Supporters anxiously await word on his injury. Although he plays a really solid game overall, he struggles to score in the league. missed the finest opportunity of the game early on, shooting from fewer than ten yards straight at the custodian.
Substitutes:
Mason Mount 6: Despite his hard work and efforts, he was unable to make an impression, even though Eriksen came off early. His uninterrupted Premier League duck for United continues.
Antony 6 replaced Garnacho and made an instant impression, giving Rashford a clear opportunity. For the next few games, that should be his role—a cameo off the bench.
Raphael Varane 6: Minimal influence.
Anthony Martial 5-Based on what he has demonstrated thus far, it is reasonable to assume that he will need to step up if Hojlund is down for a lengthy period of time.
Erik ten Hag, manager 7– If the strikers had remembered how to finish, it would have been a lot better performance and a much more comfortable scoreline.
