Bayern Munich attacker Kingsley Coman is unsurprised by Manchester United’s troubles in the Champions League this season.
Coman knows how tough the competition is and what it takes for a club to go all the way. He won the Champions League in 2020 with Bayern Munich after losing the championship game in 2015 while playing for Juventus.
The goal for the Frenchman in 2024 is to win the Champions League twice.
Coman, 27, has been preparing for the Old Trafford match tonight by doing an exclusive interview with Sky Sports.
Regarding United’s performance in Europe, Coman remarked, “It’s not a surprise because I know the Champions League is hard.”
“They have a strong squad, but I also knew Galatasaray had a strong squad.” Galatasaray acquired some talented athletes who were accustomed to competing at a high level. Copenhagen surprised me; they are excellent.
“It wasn’t going to be as simple as people assumed; the Champions League is never simple.”
United is requesting a lot in order to qualify, even if Bayern Munich has already guaranteed their spot in the round of 16 as the winners of Group A. We need FC Copenhagen to draw with Galatasaray in addition to defeating the Bundesliga champions.
The Reds are asking for a lot. Please share your predictions about tonight’s events in the comments area.
