Actor Adam Driver from the United States recently said that he would rather watch tennis player Novak Djokovic win than football.
Driver has taken on the character of Enzo Ferrari, the creator and proprietor of the high-end sports car brand Ferrari S.p.A. from Italy, in his most recent effort, Ferrari. Although the movie is scheduled for a Christmas release, it has already been seen in Italy.
The driver has been travelling around Italy lately for promotional purposes. He just had a talk about his experience working on the Ferrari project with La Gazzetta dello Sport. He disclosed his love for Michael Jordan and basketball, among other things.
Basketball. Yes, I like basketball. Ever since I was a kid. I was in Indiana so I was supposed to be a Pacers fan, but… I was rooting for the Bulls. I was obsessed with Michael Jordan like everyone else, and from where I was, Chicago was only an hour and a half away by car, so… The Bulls,” Driver said.
The driver was questioned further about his appreciation of sports other than football. He stated that he enjoys watching tennis player and 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic play, but he denied having a preference for football.
“I don’t have a preferred football or soccer team. “I love watching Djokovic play; he’s really amazing,” the American actor admitted, adding, “but I root for him.”
