Christian Eriksen, a midfielder for Manchester United, is back at Carrington working with the first team.
After suffering a knee injury against Luton Town on November 11, Eriksen has not appeared in any games. However, he participated fully in training on Monday morning and might be used this weekend.
With a week of training under his belt, the 31-year-old is very close to being fully healthy again and might play against West Ham at the London Stadium.
After suffering an injury against Luton last month, Eriksen was starting for United for the third straight game. This season, he has made six starts in the Premier League.
In the midfield match against Liverpool at Anfield, Erik ten Hag started Kobbie Mainoo, Sofyan Amrabat, and Scott McTominay, with the latter beginning in the No. 10 position because Bruno Fernandes was serving a suspension.
Updates on Mason Mount and Casemiro, who were both sidelined for Sunday’s trip to Merseyside due to injuries, will be provided at the next press conference along with the most recent information on Eriksen.
On Friday afternoon at Carrington, Ten Hag will update the media on the most recent team news. Additionally injured are Lisandro Martinez (foot) and Tyrell Malacia (knee).
Martinez’s return is being handled cautiously by the team, as Malacia just underwent further surgery. Although the centre back resumed limited individual training last week, a return is not anticipated until at least January.
