Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai could be out for the next four weeks through injury.
The Liverpool midfield player could miss up to a month due to injury, according to a recent report from Hungarian publication Index (relayed via Liverpool Echo).
When the Reds lost 3-1 to Arsenal over the weekend, 23-year-old Szoboszlai was absent from the team.
According to Index’s report, the 23-year-old is dealing with a hamstring ailment that is similar to the one he sustained in January.
For Jurgen Klopp, the injury’s reappearance could not have come at a worse moment. Liverpool will be eager to get back to winning ways after losing momentum in the title race to Mikel Arteta’s pursuer Gunners; losing Szoboszlai, possibly their most creative player, is a significant setback though.
The following games will be missed by the former RB Leipzig playmaker if he is sidelined for the next four weeks:
(Premier League) Burnley – February 10
(Premier League) Brentford – February 17
(Premier League) Luton Town – February 21
(Carabao Cup Final) Chelsea – February 25
(FA Cup Fourth Round) Watford/ Southampton – February 28
(Premier League) Nottingham Forest – March 2
Europa League Round of 16 first leg – March 7
