Christian Eriksen could depart Man Utd in the summer transfer window
Regarding a possible Christian Eriksen transfer, Brentford manager Thomas Frank has expressed his opinions rather openly. This is in response to reports that the midfield player may depart Manchester United in the summer.
Eriksen hasn’t been as important at Old Trafford lately; he signed with United as a free agent in 2022. Although he is behind Scott McTominay and Kobbie Mainoo in the team selection, manager Erik Ten Hag still values him despite this.
Eriksen is reportedly keen to join Galatasaray, but a return to Brentford might be advantageous for all parties. This summer may be United’s last opportunity to offload him before his contract expires, since he has just nine Premier League starts this season and less than 18 months left on his deal.
As long as Frank remains in control, Eriksen will always be welcome back at Brentford, he believes.
“His return is always welcome! “I will always be a Christian,” he declared to the Danish publication Tipsbladet. “I believe he is well aware of that. We also know that he enjoyed himself here.
“I’ve stated in the open that I know exactly why he chose to join United at the time. Also, I believe he did a good job. Naturally, he was injured for a while before Christmas. However, Christian is more than welcome to do so.”
