According to a recent report, Jude Bellingham could face a lengthy ban if he is proven to have used an alleged slur against Mason Greenwood.
Getafe filed a complaint with La Liga on an alleged incident between the two that happened during the match following Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory against Getafe earlier this month.
La Liga then included Getafe’s complaint in a weekly report that is forwarded to the RFEF (Spanish FA) as part of league practice, noting events that might require additional investigation.
According to La Liga’s investigation (which included quotations from ESPN), “messages about a potential incident in which visiting player Jude Bellingham allegedly insulted local player Mason Greenwood in English were found on social media following the match.

Bellingham would be sidelined until May and would only play in the final five games of the La Liga season if the ban were to be imposed prior to Real Madrid’s upcoming match, assuming that the fixture schedule stays the same.
Additionally, on April 21, he would be unable to attend the forthcoming El Clasico at home against Barcelona.
But if other games are postponed, Real’s continued involvement in the Champions League might mean he will return for the match against Barcelona.
Since the event, neither Bellingham nor Greenwood, nor their respective clubs, have spoken in public about it.
