Sacha Boey will be out for a lengthy term due to a significant hamstring strain.
Sacha Boey, the winter acquisition of Bayern Munich, will be out for several weeks due to a significant hamstring strain, the German team announced on Friday.
The German Bundesliga championship contenders released a statement stating, “FC Bayern will be without Sacha Boey for the coming weeks after the 23-year-old January arrival suffered a large tear in his left hamstring in training.”
French right-back Boey, 23, signed a contract with Galatasaray of Turkey on January 28 for a fee of 30 million euros, or at least $32.5 million, with add-ons.
Boey’s deal with Bayern Munich runs through 2028.
Bayern Munich has experienced injury issues this season.
Some regulars suffered injuries in the previous weeks, including Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry on the wings, Konrad Laimer in central midfield, and left-back Alphonso Davies.
