When Francis Ngannou destroyed Tyson Fury, the holder of the WBC heavyweight belt, in his boxing debut in October of last year, the former UFC heavyweight champion stunned the entire world.
Ngannou eventually lost by a contentious split decision, but he left the fight with immense recognition and his largest payday in the history of combat sports.
He is now scheduled to battle Joshua on March 8 in Saudi Arabia.
A few boxing aficionados believe that because there won’t be any element of surprise, the two-time heavyweight world champion, who is heavily favored, would have an easier time than Tyson Fury did against “Predator.”
For “Knockout Chaos,” Ngannou’s veteran boxing coach Dewey Cooper has assured that his fighter would disprove the skeptics once more.
I’m aware of the opinions expressed by boxing fans. Cooper stated to talkSPORT.com, “He caught Tyson Fury off guard; there was no way to study him. Anthony Joshua will be prepared for him.”
“The one thing they are overlooking is the fact that it was Francis Ngannou’s debut boxing match. In his debut match, he battled the world’s top heavyweight fighter for ten rounds.
“Don’t you believe there will be a significant learning curve for him between his first and second 10-round fights? On March 8 in Saudi Arabia, that is exactly what you will witness—a better Ngannou.
Cooper, a renowned boxing teacher and lifelong martial artist, predicts that Ngannou will approach KO Joshua in the same manner as he has all of his opponents in the past.
“Every time we fight, we see victory, and we strive for victory,” he continued. Our goal in every bout is to establish dominance or knockout. We don’t push it. Even though we don’t search for it, it’s always a motivating force.
We are aware of the risks involved in this battle. Because Tyson Fury has so many facets, gears, and skill sets, a fight with him requires downloading data and requires a high level of expertise.
It’s fire versus fire in this battle. Olympus muscular guys are swinging at each other in this battle. Joshua enjoys engaging in front-range combat. Fighting from the front is nothing new for Francis. They’re going to fall apart.
“The focus will be on the strongest person.” Who can endure the longest? Who is the hardest to break? Who is the strongest mentally? Who is the hardest to handle?
“I think Francis Ngannou will defeat Anthony Joshua with the qualities I just mentioned.
It will be quite wild. It promises to be an exciting battle. Joshua’s style of art is a one-punch knockout. Francis is a knockout artist with a single blow. There can be no negative battle in this fight.
