The finest moment Cole Palmer has experienced personally since moving to Chelsea last summer has already been disclosed.
In an interview where he received his EA Sports FC 24 “Future Stars” card and rating, he spoke about his best moment on the Club’s Twitter page.
As a true professional playing for the first team for the first time since joining the club, Palmer has been nothing short of amazing. In every tournament, he has eight assists and twelve goals.
They advanced to the final, where they will take on Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday, thanks to his brace in the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-final.
Mauricio Pochettino will start the 21-year-old on the team sheet for that match. He will have to make a lot of important choices to choose a lineup that will enable him to win his first English football championship.
The England international has had a few memorable moments this season, including his two goals in the Stamford Bridge meeting. But, his personal favorite is probably one that Chelsea fans would not agree with.
Palmer talks about his favorite Chelsea moment.
“Probably scoring at Old Trafford,” he remarked.
Palmer’s strike tied the Blues’ score against Manchester United at the time, but they lost 2-1 despite putting on one of their worst team outings of the year.
As a result, several Stamford Bridge supporters lost faith in the manager, and he would need to make a significant effort to win them back.
He does appear to have approached this the proper way, establishing a run of strong performances that have also happened to coincide with some favorable outcomes.
For many, however, Sunday will be the true test, and he will be depending on Palmer to work his magic as usual.
