With two of their injured players back to full strength for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 match, the Blaugrana party is taking a 23-man squad to Italy.
After overcoming injuries, midfielder Sergi Roberto and forward João Félix were added to Barcelona’s roster for their Champions League encounter against Napoli.
A day before the first-leg meeting in the round of 16 in Italy, on Tuesday, coach Xavi Hernández picked both of them.
João Félix had been recovering from a right ankle ailment for around three weeks, while Roberto had been sidelined for over twenty days due to a foot issue.
Alejandro Balde, Marcos Alonso, Ferran Torres, and Gavi were still out of commission due to injuries sustained by Xavi.
The rematch takes place in Barcelona on March 12.
After losing two straight group stages, the Catalan club is back in the Champions League knockout stage. The last time it advanced to the round of 16, Lionel Messi was still on it.
In the Spanish league, Barcelona is eight points behind leader Real Madrid after losing in the Copa del Rey.
Xavi recently declared he will be leaving the team at the end of the current campaign.
