Erling Haaland has finally responded to Jadon Sancho’s apparent return to Borussia Dortmund in January.
Since there has been no resolution to Jadon Sancho’s highly publicized falling out with Erik ten Hag, Manchester United has appeared to be losing him for months.
During a press conference held after the match, United’s manager stated that Sancho’s lacklustre training had prevented him from making the squad.
In response, Sancho effectively called the manager a liar in a statement that he released, and ever since, Sancho has been left out in the cold at Old Trafford without offering an apology.
Due to this, he has been searching for a way out this month, and Borussia Dortmund, his previous team, was more than willing to help. It appears that he may soon be returning on loan to Signal Iduna Park, the park where he first gained notoriety.
His former German teammate responded with a three-word statement prior to that action.
In response to Jadon Sancho’s Dortmund move, Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland has given Sancho a message in three words as he prepares to return to Germany. The forward for Manchester City posted the following on Instagram: “Perfect baller that.”
Then came a picture of the two enjoying their 2021 DFB-Pokal victory and a heart eyes emoji.
This is the most obvious indication that Sancho will be wearing Black and Yellow for the most of the current campaign, if not longer.
Sancho might be planning a long-term strategy.
Last month, rumours circulated that Sancho harboured a “secret desire” to surpass Ten Hag at United, start playing for the team, and restart his career there.
This may be the reason he’s leaving the team temporarily rather than permanently, however it’s unclear if Ten Hag will still be there at the end of the season.
Everyone will be eager to see how United’s winger does in Germany, that much is certain.
