Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has heaped praise on the team’s newest addition David Raya and described him as a new leader.
Arteta stated that Raya has already been quite demanding since coming to London Colney at his news conference, which was broadcast on Hayters TV.
He admitted to being extremely demanding and stated that his persona would undoubtedly be very outspoken.
Leader, Arteta commanded. He is an extremely demanding person.
Extremely competent. He is going to have a voice and be vocal.
And quite hungry.
David Raya appears to be starting his Arsenal debut tonight against Crystal Palace on the bench.
Much has been said about his attempt to take over as Arsenal’s starting custodian, although it is reportedly unlikely that he will do so right away.
It may be more beneficial to concentrate on the advantages Raya provides, even though many fans have been more concerned about the situation this transfer has left Aaron Ramsdale in.
Arteta is obviously convinced of Raya’s character and must believe that their rivalry would bring out the best in each of them.
Arteta now claims that Arsenal has another leader in Raya after Ramsdale previously appeared to be a leader for the team.
Arteta says that Arsenal have a new leader in David Raya
Every Ramsdale performance will now be closely evaluated as a result of this contract, of course.
It remains to be seen if that will improve or hurt the Englishman’s performance.
Ramsdale has excelled as a custodian while playing for Arsenal, but it appears he has started all over again now.
Many experts view this situation as concerning, but Arteta likes this level of competitiveness.
We witnessed at the close of the previous campaign how difficult it was for Arsenal to maintain a title push if key players became hurt.
And Arteta is determined not to let that happen again after spending the entire summer preparing.
Arsenal’s team has a new leader in David Raya, and Arteta needs to give him plenty of opportunities to establish that leadership.
