The London Evening Standard reports that Luton Town is interested in acquiring Rob Holding in the summer transfer window from Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Rob Holding, a center-back for Arsenal, has been connected to Luton Town.
Holding is apparently desired by Luton on a loan basis for the end of the current campaign.
The center defender is supposedly “cleared” to leave the Gunners in the final week of the summer transfer window, according to Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal.
According to The London Evening Standard, clubs in Spain are also interested in Holding.
The report states that the defender, who makes £40,000 per week (Spotrac), is currently “weighing his options.”
Additionally, according to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal wants to sell Holding this week.
The Italian journalist said on Twitter that Sevilla and Real Mallorca, two Spanish teams, have inquired about a possible transfer for the 27-year-old English central defender.
