Harry Kane seems to be happy living in Germany, it’s safe to assume.
The England captain made a well-publicized switch in August from his childhood team, Tottenham, to Bayern Munich, and he hasn’t looked back.
The striker increased his season total of goals in the league to 17 on Saturday after scoring a brace against Heidenheim. After 11 Bundesliga games, no player has scored more goals; the previous record, held by Robert Lewandowski, the former captain of Bayern, was 16.
Bundesliga leaders Bayern have not yet lost a point in the group stage of the Champions League, while Kane, the league’s leading scorer, has added four goals of his own.
Following Kane’s double in Bayern Munich’s 4-2 victory over Heidenheim, Christoph Freund, the team’s sports director, reportedly commented, “It is impressive.”
“It’s his first time playing outside of the UK, and he scores like that.” He is also played into place by the team. What a sensation he is.
Before moving from England to Germany, Kane—the second-highest scorer in Premier League history—was already regarded as a player of the highest calibre, but it was unclear if he would be able to maintain his level of play at Tottenham.
The 30-year-old tore up the record books in response to his forceful response to that query.
Kane has scored more goals than the Bundesliga’s leading scorer from the previous season, and his ability to score goals has impressed his new teammates.
“He’s capable of anything”
According to Reuters, experienced forward Thomas Mueller of Bayern stated, “I think he can do anything.”
All we have to do is move him into place. The ball is likely to enter if he manages to fire within or close to the box.
Later this week, Kane will travel to Malta and North Macedonia with the England team for two international matches before heading back to Germany.
Despite all of his record-breaking achievements, Kane has not yet taken home a significant prize in his career, but he is committed to addressing that this year.
“The team truly deserves all the appreciation,” Kane stated, maintaining his modesty despite his accomplishments.
They provide me the chance to do things. Playing for this team brings me joy.
