Antoine Griezmann scored the game’s first goal early on, and Memphis Depay, his striking partner, added a second goal from close range after a cross from Saul Niguez. Nahuel Molina sneaked in the third goal just before halftime to end the game after Atletico lost the Dutch attacker to injury in the first half. Substitute Alvaro Morata netted in the 73rd minute and then again after Angel Correa grabbed the fifth, with Marcos Llorente ending the rout late on.
