To Erik ten Hag’s dismay, Manchester United’s midfield has received harsh criticism this year.

The manager of Manchester United has insisted that games in which the midfield was outplayed were not the midfield’s fault.
Instead, he said that “the back and the front” were to blame for the issues at Old Trafford.
Despite this, he has chosen to add Mason Mount and, most recently, Sofyan Amrabat to the department to reinforce it.
Amrabat is rumored to be traveling to Manchester today for club media obligations; he may also be with the team tomorrow, but given his tardiness, he won’t be on the bench or in action.
The best midfielders are chosen by Erik ten Hag.
On Sunday, it is likely that we will see the same midfield lineup as usual without Amrabat.
Erik ten Hag described the midfield trio that he has seen play most well for United in a conversation with Sky Sports.
“We are very successful when we play with Casemiro, Eriksen, and Bruno,” he asserted.

“We are very successful when we play with Casemiro, Eriksen, and Bruno,” he asserted.
A valid remark considering that his club has 42 points from 17 games with those three in midfield.
Making matters worse, in 24 games without one or more of the three, only 39 points have been scored.
Midfield shouldn’t be a problem anymore.
Ten Hag believes the issue has been resolved if he starts Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, and Christian Eriksen against Arsenal.
He maintains that the problems have been addressed over the past few weeks, therefore we should see a strong United on Sunday at the Emirates.
However, given the midfield control Sofyan Amrabat will offer, the majority of supporters will be excited to see him in action right away.
But since he won’t be accessible tomorrow, we’ll have to wait until after the international break.
